What is diabetes?

Diabetes is not a disease, but a medical condition that must be managed properly to prevent complications.

My great inspiration to help diabetics achieve good quality of life came from being taught by the world famous endocrinologist –  Prof. F. Bonnice.

Type 1 diabetes, especially children, is my passion. I have been specializing in diabetes care for 20 years already.

Our professional team at Winelands Diabetes caters to all needs of diabetics in all age groups. We are also contracted with all medical funds.

Here we approach each patient and his family holistically and spend time on all needs and are available by phone after hours for help.

Knowledge – gives understanding – understanding gives management ability of diabetes – thus better quality of life.
